Site Specific Mine Planning & Software Solutions

evORElutionORElogy personnel have considerable mine planning experience and high level competency in evORElution, MINESIGHT, WHITTLE, XPAC, TALPAC, SURPAC and MINESCHED software, along with expert scripting and programming skills.

As a result ORElogy can develop comprehensive mine planning systems and procedures tailor made to the specific requirements of the client. This can be involve strategic life-of-mine planning for multiple working areas to short term planning for individual open pits.

Mine scheduling systems and procedures can focus on a number of often conflicting requirements such as:

  • Maximising project cash-flow and / or Net Present Value (NPV)
  • Maximising resource utilisation
  • Minimising operating costs / fleet size

These requirements can in turn be constrained by various factors such as:

  • A specific mine life, mine productivity or mill feed requirement
  • constrained by specific operating areas, periods, methodology etc.
  • Other strategic or corporate considerations

It is important that the solution be workable and user-friendly.  It should produce achievable results within practical operating constraints while conforming to long term company strategies and goals. It must also provide output of both a detailed and a summary nature to cater for a range of downstream “customers”.

ORElogy do not limit training to simply “driving the software” but ensure that a solid grounding in strategic mine planning concepts and a global understanding of planning goals and objectives is presented. ORElogy will also include comprehensive documentation with their training and implementation
