Delivering dynamic block-by-block equipment scheduling.

The release of v1.4 sees the inclusion of a fully featured "Equipment Model" that utilises evORElution's genetic algorithm engine to perform dynamic block-by-block equipment scheduling, via an easy-to-use graphical user interface.

“Using our genetic algorithm engine, evORElution’s new Equipment Module delivers dynamic block-by-block equipment scheduling. We are now able to deliver a level of detail to mine management that no one else can achieve, and given the cost to run equipment today these detailed modelling results are certainly going to be of particular interest to mine management, as they are constantly under pressure to do thing smarter and more efficiently.

The other area to benefit from the level of detail we deliver is the areas of Dynamic Simulation. Because of the granularity of our datasets, we can deliver good quality schedules over a shorter time frame, which can be used for downstream supply chain modelling” said Steve Craig , MD, ORElogy

Some of the features of the new equipment module include:

• GUI driven data entry and analysis (no scripting).

• Importation of digitised haul profiles.

• Calculation of block-by-block travel times base on the haul road network.

• Dynamic assignment of block destinations based on block travel times/productivities.

• Target a fleet based on travel time calculations, working hours , utilisation availability etc.

• Full stage release integration.

• Destination set-up

• Waste dumps and stockpiles can be given capacities by lift or by area and can be turned on and off on a period-by-period basis.

• Reporting : Easy and comprehensive reporting on productivities and destinations

• Simple input of equipment data ( incl. CSV import)

Complex Destination Mapping Waste dumps and stockpiles can have multiple lifts or components, each with its own haul profile.

Mining Indaba Logo

2011 was the first time ORElogy had attended and exhibited at INDABA. The conference was extremely well attended with approximately 6000 delegates.

Steve Craig and Mark Bright on our exhibition booth were kept extremely busy with great interest in our mine planning services and with evORElution capturing the imagination of the delegates we conducted a number of live scheduling demonstrations.
